Approach
A method with a start, a middle and an end.
Brand work often drifts because nobody agrees what "done" looks like. Ours has four stages, each with a concrete deliverable you can hold us to.
Listen
We start by understanding how the brand is perceived today, inside and outside the team, before suggesting anything.
- Stakeholder conversations and a review of existing material
- Customer and prospect language, gathered in their own words
- A baseline using the Brand Positioning Diagnostic
Deliverable: a one-page findings brief naming where the brand is clear and where it is foggy.
Define
We turn what we heard into a decision: who the brand is for, what it promises, and the proof that makes the promise believable.
- Audience definition with a primary and a secondary segment
- Positioning statement and the alternatives it is positioned against
- Proof points ranked by how credible they are to the audience
Deliverable: a positioning document signed off by the people who will have to live with it.
Express
Positioning only matters if people can say it back. We build the language that carries it.
- A core line, a short description and a longer narrative
- Message architecture by audience and channel
- Tone guidance with examples of what to say and what to avoid
Deliverable: a messaging guide your team can pick up on day one.
Embed
The last stage is the one that gets skipped. We help the brand hold its shape as the business grows.
- A consistency checklist for the website, sales material and social channels
- Simple signals to watch: message recall, win reasons and inbound quality
- A review rhythm, so positioning is revisited on purpose and not by accident
Deliverable: a lightweight operating guide and a first 90-day review.
Principles we work by
Say one thing well
A brand that tries to be for everyone is usually remembered by no one.
Evidence over opinion
Customer language and real objections beat internal preference.
Make it usable
If a team cannot apply the strategy on Monday morning, it is not finished.
Tantheta is launching in 2026. We are speaking with a small number of founders and teams first, and we will publish worked examples as engagements complete.
